SachsenRAD F12 new folding e-bike with magnesium frame launches
The SachsenRAD F12 folding e-bike is now available. The model has been designed for commuters to get around the city, and its compact size makes it easier to take on public transport. When folded, the model measures 800 x 320 x 770 mm (~31.5 x 12.6 x 30.3-in).
The F12 has a strap with a patented buckle to keep the wheels together and a third auxiliary wheel to make the folded bicycle easier to move around. The single-speed e-bike is powered by a 250W rear-mounted brushless motor with three speed modes and a top assistance speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). You can control the power level on the LCD, where you can also view your speed and the battery level. A 187.2 Wh lithium-ion battery allows you to travel with assistance for up to 50 km (~30 miles) on a single charge, fully recharging in five to eight hours. Plus, the model has a rigid fork with further suspension at the rear make your ride more comfortable.
Other features include 16 x 1.95-in tires, mechanical disc brakes, and a height-adjustable 2-stage telescopic seat post. Several accessories are fitted to the bicycle, such as a headlight, mudguards, and a kickstand. The e-bike has a single-piece magnesium frame with a total weight of 19.2 kg (~42.3 lbs). The model comes in one size, but you can choose between three colorways: space grey, titanium silver and lagoon blue. You can now buy the SachsenRAD folding e-bike F12 for €1,699. While the company is based in Germany, the product can be shipped worldwide for a fee.
