ENGWE is now selling the P275 ST and P275 Pro e-bikes in Europe, launching the new model with an introductory offer. The two versions, designed for city riding, are currently reduced by €300/£300. Features of the e-bikes include a mid-mounted motor, up to 260 km (~160 miles) range and an integrated display.

The ENGWE P275 e-bikes are now available to order in Europe. The latest model was announced earlier this year and is available in standard ST step-through and Pro step-over versions. The P275 ST e-bike is now available at a discounted price of €1,599/£1,599, with an RRP of €1,899/£1,899. You can currently buy the P275 Pro electric bicycle for €1,899/£1,899, with a typical retail price of €2,199/£2,199.

Designed for riding around the city, the P275 has a 250W mid-drive motor with a top assistance speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). While the ST has an Ananda motor with 70 Nm torque, the Pro features a Bafang version with a peak torque of 65 Nm. Both have a Samsung Li-ion battery for up to 260 km (~160 miles) range, fully recharging in eight hours. The transmissions differ, with a Shimano 9-speed system on the ST and a Bafang automatic shifter and Gates carbon belt used on the Pro. Again, the displays come from the same two brands, showing your speed and remaining battery.

Other features include Tektro hydraulic disc brakes and 27.5 x 2.4-inch tires. The e-bikes have an aluminum alloy frame, with the ST model weighing around 25.6 kg (56.43 lbs) and the Pro lighter at 25.3 kg (55.77 lbs). It is unclear how long these introductory offers on the ENGWE P275 ST and P275 Pro e-bikes will last. Plus, whether or when the model could launch in the US remains to be seen.
