Urban Jungle is a new e-bike brand launching a range of models, including the Ginza 1.0. The company, based in Belgium, showed the electric bicycle at Velofollies earlier this year alongside the Barrio 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 e-bikes.
The Ginza 1.0 is a trekking e-bike powered by a mid-mounted Bosch Performance Line motor with a 625Wh Bosch PowerTube battery. An SR Suntour XCR32 suspension fork helps to make your ride more comfortable, and the Schwalbe All Grounder 60-584 tires are suited to a range of surfaces, from roads to trails. Other parts used in the 5-speed bike include a Gates belt, Shimano MT400 brakes and Shimano Nexus geared hub. Lights at the front and rear help you to see and be seen, Buchel Hero Air Alloy mudguards deflect dirt, and a Racktime Boostit 2.0 allows you to transport luggage.
Plus, a Bosch Purion 200 display, mounted in the centre of the handlebars, shows information like your current speed and remaining battery. Further information, such as the weight of the e-bike, has yet to be provided. The Urban Jungle Ginza 1.0 will go on sale at bike shops in Belgium sometime in March. However, the price remains unclear. The brand is expected to roll out the model to retailers in other countries like the Netherlands, France, and Germany shortly, though no specific date has been given.
