Decathlon Rockrider E-ACTV 500 hybrid electric bike now available

The E-ACTV 500 is powered by a mid-mounted PW-C2 Yamaha motor, delivering up to 250W power and 55 Nm torque. Aligned with EU regulations, the top speed is limited to 25 kph (~16 mph), with a pedal sensor ensuring the power is adjusted to suit your output. Assistance is offered in four levels or can be switched off. Your ride is made more comfortable thanks to an SR Suntour SF15 NEX-E25 front suspension fork with 60 mm travel, 47 mm (~1.9-in) wide all-terrain tires and an adjustable handlebar. Also included is a color screen showing information like your speed and remaining battery percentage, with a USB-A port to charge your phone. Plus, you can connect the bike to your phone via Bluetooth to control settings and view journey data.

The bike is offered in three sizes, S, M and L, and three colors: eggshell (cream), laurel green (green) and neon lavender (purple). The Decathlon Rockrider E-ACTV 500 bike is now on sale in EU countries like the Netherlands, France, Italy and Spain for around €1999.99. However, it is worth noting that only four units of the e-bike in size S are currently available. The low-frame bicycle will retail for £1,999.99 in the UK, though it is not yet available, and a high-frame version is due to launch this summer.
