New Xiaomi POCO smartphone pictured before rumoured release

Gadgets360 has provided a first look at what appears to be Xiaomi's next POCO smartphone. To recap, the company released the POCO X6, POCO X6 Pro (curr. $399.50 on Amazon) and POCO M6 Pro 4G simultaneously in mid-January. Since then, the POCO F6 and POCO C61 have been rumoured to be in development, as has the POCO X6 Neo.

This time, Gadgets360 has obtained images of the POCO X6 Neo, which looks every bit like the Redmi Note 13R Pro re-brand that leaked specifications suggested was the case. As such, the POCO X6 Neo has two rear-facing cameras sat within a wide camera housing. Additionally, the same housing has a third aperture for an LED flash array, as well as 'POCO' and camera-hardware-related inscriptions. Moreover, Xiaomi has even applied the same 'Morning Light Gold' finish to the POCO X6 Neo that it already offers with the Redmi Note 13R Pro.

Consequently, the POCO X6 Neo is assumed to combine a Dimensity 6080 chipset with a 120 Hz and 1080p OLED display that measures 6.67-inches across. Also, the handset should retain the 108 MP primary, 16 MP front-facing and 2 MP depth of field cameras found in the Redmi Note 13R Pro. Based on recent rumours, the POCO X6 Neo could launch later this month, months before the POCO F6. However, the POCO X6 Neo may be an Indian exclusive, at least initially.
