Xiaomi Scooter 4 Pro and 4 Lite (2nd Gen) European pricing exposed in new leak
Xiaomi’s latest e-scooters are 2nd-gen versions of its existing 4 series, yet are touted as upgraded 25 kilometer per hour (km/h, or ~15.5 mile per hour (mph)) urban mobility solutions with 1,000W of peak output (or 400W in most conditions) in the new 4 Pro model, with a range boost of up to 25% in the Lite version.
Those updates might invite speculation that the new 4 Lite and Pro would be much more expensive than their 1st-gen counterparts. However, according to a new Dealabs report, they will in fact retail for €549 and €299 respectively.
Those estimates are optimistic indeed, especially as Xiaomi still sells the original Electric Scooter 4 Pro for €699.99 in countries such as Germany, at the time of writing, whereas the 4 Lite goes for €399.99 at present.
Then again, it is possible that the new alleged prices for the iteratively upgraded e-scooters applies to customers in France “and some other EU countries” alone.
