Neco has launched the E-Pop scooter in the EU. The electric model has a 1,200W motor, meaning European customers need the appropriate license or equivalent to operate the vehicle. Other features include hydraulic suspension at the front and rear, fat tires and a luggage rack.

The Neco E-Pop electric scooter is now on sale in Europe. The model has a 1,200W rear-wheel motor, with an expected top speed of 45 kph (~28 mph). Due to its power, which equates to 50cc, the two-wheeler is in the L1 category, meaning EU customers must have completed a CBT course or possess a category AM or P on their driving license to ride the vehicle.

The E-Pop has a 48V 28Ah battery, allowing you to travel for up to 60 km (~37 miles) between charges. To make your ride comfier, Neco has included a soft saddle, which the company says can accommodate up to two people, wide tires, dual hydraulic rear shock absorbers and a front suspension fork. Other features include LED lights, a lockable helmet hook, hydraulic disc brakes and a rear luggage rack.

The model is relatively compact, with a 1,023 mm (~40.3-in) wheelbase and 670 mm (~26.4-in) width, and you can fold the handlebars to make the scooter easier to transport or store. The scooter weighs 57 kg (~126 lbs) and can support loads up to 207 kg (~456 lbs). You can now buy the Neco E-Pop scooter via EU dealers for €1,999.
