New Red Bull Racing E-Scooter RS 1200 AT arrives with 960Wh battery and dual-suspension
Red Bull has launched a new e-scooter model in the EU, the RS 1200 AT. The scooter has a 500W motor in the rear wheel, providing a top speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). This maximum speed means that the scooter is only road-legal in some countries like Austria and is not approved for use on public roads in places like Germany and Switzerland.
You can choose from four-speed modes, with the RS 1200 AT’s powerful engine helping you to tackle gradients of up to 33°. A 960Wh battery allows you to ride for up to 60 km (~37 miles) on a single charge, fully recharging in five or six hours. 13-in pneumatic tires, a telescopic front fork and rear shock absorber help to make your ride more comfortable, and disc brakes at the front and rear ensure you can stop swiftly. A 3.96-in (~100.6 mm) LED display between the handlebars shows information such as your speed and remaining battery. Other features include LED front and rear lights, reflectors, indicators and a horn.
The Red Bull Racing e-scooter has a magnesium alloy frame, weighs 41 kg (~90 lbs, incl. engine, battery, etc.), and supports loads up to 100 kg (~220 lbs). The scooter measures 138 x 61 x 128 cm (~54.3 x 24.0 x 50.4-in) and is foldable, reducing the 128 cm (~50.4-in) height to 61 cm (~24.0-in). You can now buy the Red Bull Racing E-Scooter RS 1200 AT in EU countries such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland for the discounted price of €2,599; the product typically retails for €2,999.
