ENGWE is showing its new E26 fat-tire e-bike at EICMA 2023, also known as the Milan Motorcycle Shows. Two versions of the model were launched earlier this year, with one version tailored to EU regulations and a second for the broader international market.
The international ENGWE E26 has a 750W motor, with 70Nm torque and a top speed of 28 mph (~45 kph), while the EU version has a less powerful 250W motor, with the same torque and a lower maximum speed of 16 mph (~25 kph). A 48V 16Ah lithium-ion battery allows you to travel up to 87 miles (~140 km), fully recharging in around six hours. A dual suspension system ensures a comfortable ride over various terrains, and hydraulic disc brakes provide short stopping distances.
Other features of the e-bike include a Shimano seven-speed gearbox, a color LCD Display and a rear rack with a 55 lbs (~25 kg) load capacity. You can choose between a step-through or step-over frame in Onyx Black, Bumblebee Yellow and Gem Blue colors; on average, the bike weighs around 43 kg (~95 lbs). You can buy the ENGWE E26 fat-tire-e-bike for the discounted price of US$1,149/€1,299; this includes a US$50/€100 discount on the US$1,199/€1,399 RRP.
