The Van Rysel Interactive Turbo Trainer D100 is now available at Decathlon in Europe. The gadget connects to your bike’s chain, providing a more natural feeling experience and producing less noise than an equivalent model that attaches to the rear wheel. For example, the new model generates under 56Db noise at 1.5m (~4.9 ft) at 30 kph (~19 mph).
The Interactive Turbo Trainer D100 has a direct drive motor, a maximum power of 600W, equivalent to 60 kph (~37 mph), with measurements accurate to within 5%. You can use the gadget to simulate hills with an incline of up to 6%. FTMS Bluetooth compatibility allows you to connect to various smartphones, tablets, and laptops running Windows and macOS. The gadget supports a range of apps, including Zwift, Onelap, Kinomap, Bkool, and Mywhoosh. Plus, you can use the OnelapFit app to install updates and calibrate the device. A fold-down foot makes the device easier to store; when folded, the gadget measures 600 x 280 x 540 mm (~23.6 x 11.0 x 21.3-in).
The included Hyperglide Road cassette body is compatible with Shimano and SRAM 8/9/10/11/12-speed units, 130-135x5 mm QR and 142-148x12 mm thru axle.
