SwitchBot has launched the Mini Robot Vacuum K10+ in the US and Europe. The company claims it is the world's smallest robot vacuum cleaner, around 50% smaller than the average model. The new device measures 248 mm (~9.8-in) across and 92 mm (~3.6-in) tall, meaning it can easily travel under many pieces of furniture like sofas and beds.
The Mini Robot Vacuum K10+ was initially launched on the crowdfunding platform Makuake in Japan. You can choose from four suction levels, with up to 2,500 Pa power, and a combined rubber and bristle roller brush helps to pick up dirt. The robot can also mop using disposable cleaning pads; it is unclear whether the company plans to release a reusable version at a later date. The gadget has been designed to cover an area of 120 m² (~1,292 ft²) with its 3,200 mAh battery and can climb over obstacles 2 cm (~0.8-in) tall. The robot's docking station will automatically empty the onboard dustbin into the larger 4L dustbag, allowing up to 70 days of hands-free cleaning.
You can use the accompanying app, available for iOS and Android, to set up a cleaning schedule and trigger the robot remotely. Alternatively, you can control the device with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands. Other features include LiDAR navigation and a 50dB running noise. You can now buy the SwitchBot Mini Robot Vacuum K10+ for the discounted price of US$399.99/£399.99/€399.99. The gadget will retail for US$499.99/£499.99/€499.99 when this introductory offer ends on November 27.
