The Decathlon Elops 900E high-frame electric city bike is discounted in some EU countries. In the Netherlands and Germany, customers can purchase the e-bike for €999.99, saving 23% or €300 on the €1,299.99 RRP. Customers in France, Spain and Italy can buy the model for the same price, though the deal appears less generous at 16% or €200 as the previous price was €1,199.99.
The Elops 900E has a 250W hub motor in the rear wheel, providing up to 35 Nm torque, and a cadence sensor ensures assistance feels natural. A 417Wh lithium-ion battery allows you to ride with assistance for up to 70 km (~43 miles) between charges. You can toggle between four power modes, including a walk mode, on the handlebar-mounted LCD, which also shows your speed and remaining battery. Plus, a built-in USB port allows you to charge your phone on the go.
The 7-speed bike has a Suntour Nex suspension fork with 63 mm travel, 28-inch wheels, and CST 700x40 tires for a comfortable ride. Other features include mechanical disc brakes, a rear luggage rack and LED lighting. The bicycle is available in four sizes, with the medium model weighing 25.4 kg (~56 lbs). These offers on the Decathlon Elops 900E step-over e-bike in France and Italy will run until December 25 and in Spain until January 15. It is unclear when the deals will end in the Netherlands and Germany.
