The MAG Bike ET.1 E-MTB has arrived. The e-bike has a magnesium frame making it 30% lighter than an aluminum equivalent, weighing 22 kg (~48.5 lbs). The company suggests it has used other high-quality materials like titanium screws, with the monolithic frame designed to absorb vibrations for a more comfortable ride.
The ET.1 has a 725Wh battery and is powered by a Brose S Mag motor, providing a top speed of 25 kph (~16 mph) and 90 Nm torque; the company has not indicated the assistance range on a single charge. The full suspension model has a Cane Creek Helm MKII Air fork at the front and a Cane Creek Kitsuma Coil shock at the rear, each with 160 mm travel. The 12-speed e-bike also has a Brose Allround display, showing your speed and the remaining battery level alongside other information.
Other parts include an SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS derailleur, a Hope Tech4 V4 brake set, a RockShox Reverb AXS Dropper Seatpost, and Maxxis Rekon tires. It is unclear precisely when the MAG Bike ET.1 electric mountain bike will arrive or how much it will cost. When it goes on sale, the bicycle will be available with a blue or black frame.
