The Decathlon Rockrider E-ST 100 e-bike is currently discounted in Europe. Customers in the UK can get 10% off, lowering the price from £999.99 to £899.99. In France and Spain, the cost of the electric bicycle is reduced by around 20%, or €200, from €999 to €799. Those in Sweden can get a 23% discount, with the bike reduced from 12,999 kr to 9,999 kr.
This older version of the E-ST 100 was succeeded earlier this year by a new model, though the only difference between the two appears to be the colors on the frame and battery pack. The e-bike has a 250W motor, delivering up to 42 Nm torque and a top assistance speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). You can choose from three assistance modes, Eco, Standard and Boost, toggling between them on a handlebar-mounted LCD. The display also shows information such as your speed, distance travelled and remaining range in km.
A 380Wh battery allows you to ride for an average of two hours on a single charge. Other features of the 8-speed e-bike include a Microshift MS25 rear derailleur, SR Suntour XCT 30 suspension fork with 100 mm travel and Tektro TKD68 1-piston 180mm brakes. The bike has an aluminum frame in four sizes, with the medium model weighing 22.3 kg (~49 lbs).
