Juiced Bikes launches more powerful Scrambler X2 fat-tire e-bike
Juiced Bikes has launched the Scrambler X2 in the US, a new version of the older model; the original Scrambler launched in 2018 via a successful Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. The new e-bike has the same retro step-over frame, with community-driven upgrades, including a more powerful motor and refreshed power pack.
The Scrambler X2 features a 1,000W Bafang motor for 85Nm torque and a top assistance speed of 28 mph (~45 kph). You can get power on demand thanks to a twist-throttle and a cadence sensor on the pedal ensures the engine matches your output. Various power modes, including an ECO battery saving option, can be selected via a backlit LCD, which also displays data such as the remaining battery level and distance travelled. A 52V 15Ah G2 battery pack allows you to ride with assistance at a medium speed for around 55 miles (~89 km).
Other features of the 7-speed bike include front suspension, a USB port to charge your phone, 20 x 4-in Knobby tires and hydraulic disc brakes. Plus, you can choose from optional extras like mirrors, fenders and a horn. The model has a 6061 aluminum frame and weighs 82.2 lbs (~37.3 kg). You can currently buy the Juiced Scrambler X2 e-bike in the US at the discounted price of $1,499; the model will typically retail for $1,899.
