Xiaomi launches new folding Electric Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen)
The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen) is now in France, with product listings suggesting the model is coming soon to other countries like Spain and Sweden. The model was first seen on the brand’s global website earlier this year, with pricing leaking shortly after.
The Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen) has a top speed of 25 kph (~16 mph) from its 300W rated power motor, with 390W peak power, capable of tackling slopes up to 15%. A larger 9,600 mAh battery gives the model a more extended range than its predecessor at 25 km (~16 miles) compared to 20 km (~12 miles). There is an integrated display showing your speed and the remaining battery. Plus, Bluetooth connectivity allows you to view further information and lock the scooter remotely in the Xiaomi Home app. Other features include E-ABS and drum brakes, 10” pneumatic tires and lights at the front and rear. The model can fold in half, collapsing to 530 x 1141 x 440 mm (~20.9 x 44.9 x 17.3 inches).
You can now buy the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen) in France for €299.00 with an estimated shipping date of May 13th to May 27th. It has been confirmed that the model will retail for the same price in Spain, but pricing for Sweden and other European countries has yet to be announced.
