Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G receives full global release with 3,000 nit AMOLED display and Light Hunter 800 camera
Xiaomi has finally given the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus its full global release, roughly a month after the smartphone launched in India. This time, Xiaomi has complemented its range-topping Redmi Note 14 model with 4G and 5G siblings, which have arrived as four devices:
Xiaomi has released the Redmi Buds 6, Buds 6 Pro and Watch 5 globally as well, coverage of which you can find via each hyperlinked device. To recap, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G centres around a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, as well as a 5,110 mAh battery that supports 120 W wired charging. Additionally, the device succeeds last year's Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G (curr. $324 on Amazon) with the following camera hardware:
- Primary: 200 MP Light Hunter 800, OIS, f/1.65 aperture, 1/1.4-inch sensor size, 7P lens
- Ultra-wide: 8 MP, f/2.2 aperture
- Macro: 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture
- Front-facing: 20 MP, f/2.2 aperture
The Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G finds itself with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display too, just like the cheaper Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. For reference, the large panel outputs at 2,712 x 1,220 pixels, which Xiaomi markets as 1.5K, with 3,000 nits peak brightness, a 120 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 coverage. Xiaomi has only certified the device to IP68 levels globally though; by contrast, the same device is sold as IP69 certified in China.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G is orderable from today, with a choice of two memory variants and three colour options. Please note that while Xiaomi has revealed the device today, it will not go on sale until January 15 when it will be available in Frost Blue, Lavender Purple and Midnight Black colour options at the following prices:
