Alongside the Redmi Note 14 series and Poco X7 lineup, Xiaomi has brought a bunch of its accessories to the global market. The Redmi Buds 6 are among them, and at the core, they are affordable wireless earbuds that aim to deliver superior audio performance and personalized immersion.
When it comes to the audio performance, the Redmi Buds 6 come with a dual-driver setup. One of them is a 12.4 mm titanium-coated dynamic driver, while the other is a 5.5 mm piezoelectric tweeter. With custom sound profiles, the wireless buds promise to deliver each note of the audio the way you like it. Another big highlight of these earbuds is the ANC performance.
Xiaomi says that the wireless earbuds can tackle noise of up to 49 dB, which should lead to immersive audio listening. More specifically, the company says that it can effectively reduce noise from traffic, typing, and light rain. There's support for 360-degree spatial audio as well.
The Redmi Buds 6 also come with an adaptive transparency feature, which intelligently adjusts the noise cancellation according to the environment. There is a dual-mic setup for handling calls. Paired with AI noise cancellation, this microphone setup aims to offer clear communication.
Other highlights of the wireless earbuds include up to 42 hours of runtime with the charging case, smart connection options, and Bluetooth 5.4. The Redmi Buds 6 will be available from January 15 and cost £34.99 in the UK (around $43).
