Xiaomi Bluetooth Speaker with 360° sound and RGB lighting now available in more countries
The Xiaomi Bluetooth Speaker has been rolled out to several European countries. The product appeared on the Xiaomi global website in July, arriving in the UK and France several weeks ago. Now, the portable device is also available in Germany and Italy.
The Bluetooth Speaker is designed for outdoor use, and it is rated as IP67 dust and water-resistant. It has five units in total: two 10W tweeters, a 20W woofer and two passive radiators. According to Xiaomi, it has a maximum volume of 93 dB, and its design allows for a 360° sound output. Plus, you can use Bluetooth 5.3 to connect up to eight units to boost the audio. On top of this, there are customizable RGB lighting effects, support for HyperOS Connect and app-based controls via the Mi Home or Xiaomi Home app.
Other features include NFC, Harman AudioEFX professional audio software tuning and an integrated microphone for Bluetooth calling. According to the company, the 4,800mAh battery allows it to run for up to 17 hours between charges; this measurement assumes no lighting and 50% volume. You can recharge the speaker via a 22.5W USB-C input, though it is unclear how long a full charge would take.
