Xiaomi Bluetooth Speaker and Bluetooth Speaker Mini with 360-degree sound and RGB effect get global launch
At the beginning of the year, Xiaomi presented two relatively compact Bluetooth speakers in China. Now, the global launch of the Xiaomi Bluetooth Speaker and the Xiaomi Bluetooth Speaker Mini is on the horizon, having recently appeared on Xiaomi's global website.
Until now, they could only be ordered via well-known stores such as AliExpress and others. The official sales launch now appears to be imminent, although Xiaomi has not yet provided any official information regarding a launch in specific countries. Nothing is yet known about possible prices either, but we do know the specifications.
The larger Xiaomi Bluetooth Speaker is sold in China for the equivalent of less than $86 The 40 W Bluetooth speaker provides 360-degree sound with a maximum volume of 93 dB thanks to two tweeters, one mid-frequency driver and two passive radiators. The IP67 waterproof Xiaomi Bluetooth speaker also supports HyperOS Connect and stereo pairing as well as colorful RGB lighting and a rechargeable battery for up to 17 hours of runtime.
The Xiaomi Bluetooth Speaker Mini, which is available on Xiaomi's home market for less than $33, is only half the size at approximately 10 x 7 x 7 cm and weighs only half as much at 330 g. Two full-range speakers and a passive radiator are installed here, which also emit surround sound. Even though the Bluetooth Speaker Mini has less power and a significantly shorter battery life of 8 hours, many of the other features are still available.
