The Xiaomi 15 generation, which will probably be entirely equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, will soon make its grand appearance, at least in China, where the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are expected to be launched as soon as October. However, the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 flagships worldwide will not remain a duo for long; in addition to a surprising Xiaomi 15S Pro, the Chinese are apparently already working on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which will not be officially unveiled until 2025.
If the schedule from last year remains the same, it may be ready as early as February 2025, as confirmed by the first model numbers discovered in Gizmochina's IMEI database. Accordingly, three Xiaomi 15 Ultra models are currently in development, one for China, one for the Indian market and one global model that is expected in Europe. The three model numbers are 25010PN30C, 25010PN30G and 25010PN30I, as the screenshots below show.
Launch to be at the Mobile World Congress again?
If you analyze the numbers, especially the first four digits, one can expect a launch from January 2025. In 2024, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was launched at the Mobile World Congress at the end of February together with the global Xiaomi 14. This is also the most likely plan for next year, with the difference being that the MWC 2025 will start a little later on March 3, 2025. This may mean that European Xiaomi fans will have to wait more than six months for the global Xiaomi 15. The Xiaomi 15 Pro is likely to remain China-only, but the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will definitely come to Europe in 2025.
