Ultimea has expanded its soundbar product stack with a new 7.1 channel option. Specifically, the company has decided to release the Aura A60, which follows on from the Nova S80 that arrived about two weeks ago (curr. $199.99 on Amazon).
According to Ultimea, the Aura A60 delivers up to 350 W across its eight drivers. Please note that the soundbar itself contains a trio of 2-inch drivers, which act as left, centre and right channels. Additionally, Ultimea intends the Aura A60's quad 2-inch satellite drivers to be positioned as left rear, right rear, left side and right side channels.
Meanwhile, the dedicated subwoofer is said to be built around a 4-inch driver that helps provide a 65-18 kHz frequency response with less than 1% distortion, 26 dB of static noise and a 75 dB signal-to-noise ratio. Separately, Ultimea has included six EQ 'listening modes' that can be adjusted within the company's smartphone app.
Furthermore, the Aura A60 supports features like Bluetooth, HDMI eARC and Dolby Atmos. Currently, Ultimea is selling its latest soundbar at $199.99, before redeeming a $20 early bird discount. Although the Aura A60 is available to purchase now, Ultimea does not expect to begin shipping pre-orders until mid-January 2025 at the earliest.
