Xiaomi Smart Temperature and Humidity Monitor 3 with larger display now available in more countries
The Xiaomi Smart Temperature and Humidity Monitor 3 is rolling out to more countries in Europe. The smart home device first appeared on the brand’s global website in July and has since reached countries like the UK, Turkey and Thailand.
Now, the Smart Temperature and Humidity Monitor 3 has appeared at the Xiaomi store in Germany, which could be the start of a wider European launch. The device has a 62.6 x 52.3 mm (~2.5 x 2.1 inches) LCD screen surrounded by a white casing. The display shows information such as the current temperature, the humidity level, and the day, date and time. A face icon in the top right-hand corner indicates the comfort level, and users can choose between three display modes, each prioritising different information. Plus, Bluetooth connectivity allows you to monitor the detected temperature and humidity in the Xiaomi Home app, and you can link the device to smart heaters or humidifiers.
According to Xiaomi, the device refreshes every six seconds. The temperature sensor is said to be able to detect a 0.1°C change, while the humidity sensor detects 1% relative humidity differences. The company suggests that the device could run on standby for 18 months on a single CR2450 battery.
