Xiaomi is preparing to launch its new A27Ui 4K monitor globally. Besides its high resolution, the new display is said to feature remarkable colour accuracy and eye-protection technology.

Xiaomi has announced another 4K monitor for the international market. The Xiaomi A27Ui 4K monitor is a new addition to the A27 series, which currently comprises the A27i (approx. $140 on Amazon) and the A27Qi.

There is still no word yet on if or when the Xiaomi A27Ui will be available in various regions. However, the company has listed the new model on its global website, confirming that the monitor will at least be sold outside its domestic Chinese market. As is often the case, the product page unfortunately doesn’t provide any pricing information, but the monitor is expected to fall within the low three-digit dollar range. Nonetheless, all key specifications have already been revealed.

Compared with the Xiaomi 27i FHD monitor and the 27Qi 2K monitor, the new A27Ui shares the same 27-inch diagonal but offers the highest resolution at 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160 pixels). Whilst its 60 Hz refresh rate is lower than that of the FHD model, its display’s typical brightness of 360 nits surpasses the other two A27 monitors. However, this higher brightness also translates to increased power usage, rated at 120 watts.

The built-in IPS panel has a 16:9 aspect ratio. According to official specs, the Xiaomi A27Ui delivers a typical contrast ratio of 1,200:1, supports 1.07 billion colours, and covers 100% of the sRGB and 95% of DCI-P3 gamuts, all whilst achieving an impressive colour accuracy of DeltaE<1.

In addition to a DisplayPort and two HDMI inputs, the Xiaomi 4K monitor is equipped with a USB hub capable of 90-watt reverse charging as well as eye-protection technology with TÜV Low Blue Light certification. An adjustable, multifunctional stand is also provided.
