LG has quietly released another mid-sized OLED gaming monitor globally after initially debuting it in Japan. To recap, the UltraGear OLED 39GX90SA was one of three UltraGear OLED monitors that LG showcased at the end of last year. For reference, while LG has also released the UltraGear OLED 45GX950A in multiple markets, there is no sign of the UltraGear OLED 45GX990A yet.
According to LG, the UltraGear OLED 39GX90SA comes with an 800R curved WOLED panel that outputs natively at 1440p and 240 Hz. As usual for an OLED monitor, LG claims response times of 0.03 ms (GtG) too, which it complements with AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync image tearing technologies. Moreover, the UltraGear OLED 39GX90SA peaks at 275 nits (SDR) and comes pre-loaded running webOS 24 with the following ports at its disposal:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 1x Gigabit Ethernet
- 2x HDMI 2.1
- 2x USB Type-A
- 1x USB Type-C (65 W Power Delivery)
The UltraGear OLED 39GX90SA retails for £1,299.99, €1,499 and $1,599.99 in the UK, Eurozone and the US, respectively. At the time of writing, LG USA has stock of its 39-inch gaming monitor, as do third parties like Amazon. By contrast, the UltraGear OLED 39GX90SA will not start reaching customers in the Eurozone until the end of the month, with UK pre-orders set for May 5 shipments.
