TCL unveils new T6C-UK 4K QLED TV with gaming features

TCL has launched the TC6-UK 4K QLED Fire TV range. This new series, exclusively for the UK market, offers TVs in sizes ranging from 43-inch to 85-inch. It is said to have a bezel-less design with a slim body.

The TC6 is marketed with 4K HDR Pro and Quantum Dot technology, with 93% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision formats. The device has a High-Performance Vertical Alignment (HVA) panel, which is said to provide high contrast with reduced power consumption and a 178° viewing angle. These TCL Game Master TVs have an HDMI 2.1 port and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) to reduce input lag. Also included are Game Picture Mode, super wide 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios, an Aiming Aid tool and the Game Bar, which provides easy access to settings. Plus, the four largest sizes offer a 1080p@120Hz Game Accelerator. 

TCL's T6C Fire TV interface allows you to access various streaming apps and search for content with Amazon Alexa voice commands. These TVs come with Freely, allowing users to stream live and on-demand TV through a single app. On top of this, there are built-in 10W speakers, supporting Dolby Atmos and DTS:Virtual X; the range-topping 85-inch TV has a 2.1 channel Onkyo-branded sound system.

The TCL TC6-UK 4K QLED Fire TVs start from £399 for the 43-inch model (complete price list below). Four sizes are currently discounted at Very, where the 65-inch is reduced from £749 to £649; it is unclear how long these deals will last. Another version of the TCL T6C QLED TV with Google TV has also been spotted on the brand’s site for the East Africa region.
