The Sony Bravia 3 TV has arrived in the UK as a new, more affordable model. It originally launched in 2024, when it was available in markets like the US and Australia. In the UK, customers will be able to choose from the following sizes: 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch.
The Sony Bravia 3 is a 4K LCD TV with a native 60Hz refresh rate and a 200/240Hz motion enhancer. There is a direct LED backlight with frame dimming, a 4K upscaling tool, and support for Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. Google TV allows users to stream content through apps like Apple TV and Netflix, or you can wirelessly cast with Apple AirPlay 2 or Google Chromecast. Plus, it works with Apple Home and supports Siri, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa voice commands.
According to the product listing, there are HDMI 2.1 ports for 4K 120 fps, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). Other gaming features for PlayStation 5 users are Auto HDR Tone Mapping during setup and Auto Genre Picture Mode. Also included are built-in speakers for a 20W output, supporting Dolby Atmos.
You can now pre-order the Sony Bravia 3 TV, with prices starting from £699 for the 43-inch model. The complete price list can be found below, and the device will start to ship in May. While it is less expensive than other models in the Sony Bravia TV range, it is not the cheapest offering from the brand; the older X75WL Smart Google TV in a 43-inch size costs £479.
