Xiaomi L1 Pro new affordable projector launches in Europe
The Xiaomi Smart Projector L1 Pro has been released in various European countries. This upgraded version of the Smart Projector L1 appeared on the brand’s global website last year, hinting at a global rollout.
You can now buy the Xiaomi Smart Projector L1 Pro EU in countries like the UK, the Netherlands and Germany for £249.99/€299.99. That makes it £80/€100 more expensive than the standard Xiaomi Smart Projector L1, which has also recently rolled out across Europe.
This relatively low price is reflected in the Xiaomi Smart Projector L1 Pro’s features. The sealed optical engine delivers up to 400 ISO lumens peak brightness, making it less suitable for use in the daytime. However, it is twice as bright as the regular model. It has the same 1080p resolution and 1.2:1 throw ratio, projecting images up to 100 inches (~254 cm) wide. Plus, this LCD model supports 4K content, and the image can be perfected with tools like automatic keystone correction and autofocus.
Like the standard model, it has Google TV, which brings many streaming apps and wireless screen sharing via Google Cast. It is accompanied by a Bluetooth remote control, and there are also two 5W speakers supporting Dolby Audio. Xiaomi claims that it has tested the device for burn-in over 120 days. The Xiaomi Smart Projector L1 Pro is marketed as a compact model, measuring 210 x 128 x 189 mm (~8.3 x 5.0 x 7.4 inches) and weighing 2.0 kg (~4.4 lbs).
