Xgimi releases new Portable Outdoor Screen for projectors
Xgimi recently launched the new Portable Outdoor Screen worldwide. This projector accessory is designed to help you create the perfect set-up in your garden or when camping with minimal effort.
The Portable Outdoor Screen allows you to project images up to 70 inches (~178 cm) wide, and the screen material is said to have high elasticity to reduce wrinkles or creases. It is worth noting that due to the height of the screen, the company recommends using it with a long-throw projector like the MoGo Pro.
Xgimi claims that the accessory can be set up in as little as 60 seconds in one step. This is thanks in part to an elastic cord inside the legs, similar in design to some tent poles. These clip together, and then the screen is hooked onto the central pole. Plus, the accompanying ground stakes can be used to fix the screen in place.
The accessory is billed as lightweight, making it easier to transport; it weighs 1.5 kg (~3.3 lbs) and folds to measure 45 cm (~17.7 inches) long. When unfolded, the frame measures 1,760 x 431 x 1,372 mm (~69.3 x 17.0 x 54.0 inches). According to Xgimi, the aluminum alloy frame is waterproof and rust-resistant, making it durable. It comes with a storage bag, and the fabric screen is washable and can be ironed at temperatures below 130°C (~266°F).
