Aurzen is now shipping the ZIP projector - the world's smallest, pocketable tri-fold projector. The DLP projector has a folded size of 3.3 x 3.1 x 1 in. (84 x 78 x 26 mm) and weighs only 9.8 oz. (280 g).
When unfolded for use, the DLP projector can be used in both horizontal (landscape) and vertical (portrait) modes, enabling the display of vertical social media posts without letterboxing.
The built-in Zero-Lag autofocus technology measures the distance to the wall 30 times per second to automatically set focus and vertical keystone. Android, Apple iOS and macOS, and Windows devices can easily mirror video content to the projector. The CastPlay wireless HDMI adapter for game consoles like the Nintendo Switch will be available soon.
Videos are projected at 720p resolution with 100 lumens of brightness while audio is played over stereo 1 watt speakers. The AurzenHub app is used to control the projector over Bluetooth 5.4. The internal 5,000 mAh battery powers the unit for 1.5 hours while any USB-C external power bank can extend the runtime.
The Aurzen ZIP folding portable projector is now shipping for an MSRP of $399.99 from Amazon in titanium gold and dark gray.
