OnePlus Nord CE 5 spec sheet leak confirms it will launch with a MediaTek SoC

OnePlus' upcoming affordable smartphone, the Nord CE 5, was tipped to arrive with a massive 7,100 mAh battery that would support 80 Watt fast charging, which is impressive for a smartphone in its segment. Now, a new leak from SmartPrix, the same source that told us its battery capacity, reveals its entire spec sheet.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5 will launch with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC with up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. For the rear cameras, you get as 50 MP (Sony LYT600/IMX882) wide-angle lens and an 8 MP (Sony IMX355) ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, there's a 16 MP module. Apart from the SoC switch from Qualcomm to MediaTek and bump in battery capacity, there doesn't seem to be much of an upgrade over the Nord CE 4.

Lastly, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 comes with a 6.7-inch FHD OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. A microSD card slot might be included in some markets, but you may have to sacrifice dual-SIM functionality. OnePlus plans to sell the Nord CE 5 for under ₹25,000 ($292) in India, and its global price could be around that much before taxes.
