The Samsung Q8F TV series is expected to launch soon. The model has recently been spotted on the brand’s website in Canada, at Amazon US, at European retailers and on the company’s support pages in the UK. The range offers seven sizes: 32-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch. It is worth noting that the model numbers differ between countries; for example, the smallest size is identified with model numbers GQ43Q8F, QE43Q8F, QN43Q8Fand TQ43Q8F.
Samsung’s Q8F is expected to top the brand’s 2025 range of 4K QLED TVs. It is a 4K QLED TV with a 60 Hz refresh rate for the three smallest sizes and 120 Hz (up to 144Hz) for the larger four sizes. It is powered by the Q4 AI processor, with AI features including generative wallpaper, live translation, home insights and 4K upscaling. It also is marketed as having 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, with Color Booster Pro technology and support for HDR10+.
For gamers, there are tools like the Gaming Hub, Motion Xcelerator 144Hz, AI Auto Game Mode, Game Bar, AMD FreeSync Premium and Hue Sync for dynamic lighting effects. The Tizen Smart TV operating system provides access to popular streaming apps and supports Bixby or Alexa voice commands. Plus, Samsung SmartThings allows you to use gestures to control the TV with a compatible smartwatch, amongst other features. The product listing indicates that this is an AirSlim model with a relatively thin profile and an adjustable stand.
The Samsung 85-inch Class QLED Q8F TV is currently available at Amazon US for $1,997.99. However, it is rumored that Samsung will be officially launching its Q8F TVs in May. In Canada, the cost of this TV ranges from CA$649.99 for the 32-inch model to $CA2,799.99 for the 85-inch model. Plus, one EU retailer indicates that prices could start from €899 for the 43-inch TV in this market.
