Xiaomi has refreshed the Redmi G27 series again, having last updated the G27 and G27Q in October 2024. For context, these monitors arrived shortly after Xiaomi began selling the similar G27Qi (curr. $189.99 on Amazon) globally.
This time, the company has introduced 'energy saving' models, which it sells as the Redmi G27 Energy Saving Edition and Redmi G27Q Energy Saving Edition. Like last October's releases, Xiaomi principally distinguishes the pair with their native resolutions that deliver 1080p and 1440p visuals, respectively.
According to the company's product pages, both new monitors retain 180 Hz refresh rates, as well as 8-bit colour depth and <2 Delta E deviations. On top of that, the energy saving models cover 99% of the sRGB colour space with 1 ms GtG response times and AdaptiveSync support to mitigate image tearing.
Xiaomi's new Redmi G27 gaming monitors start at CNY 649 (~$90) but rise to CNY 939 (~$130) for the 1440p variant with an adjustable stand. As usual, Xiaomi has not confirmed global availability yet. Previous releases suggest that a launch outside China could be on the cards at some point, though.
