The high-end LG UltraGear OLED 45GX950A had already landed in a few markets like Japan and Canada after its release earlier this year. Shortly after, its European prices emerged, and now, gamers in the United States can pre-order the monitor from LG's official website.
In line with its European price, the LG UltraGear OLED 45GX950A costs $1,999 in the US. There appear to be no pre-order bonuses other than 10,000 membership points, but you can get a $100 off if you pre-register yourself on LG's website. Pre-orders will start shipping on March 31, which also happens to be the date you can purchase the monitor via offline retailers.
The LG UltraGear OLED 45GX950A is the world's first 5K2K monitor that can operate at 5,120 x 2,160 165 Hz or 5,120 x 1,080 330 Hz. It comes with an OLED panel with 800R curvature, a DP 2.1 port, an HDMI port, a USB-C port, Nvidia G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, 98% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and a response time of 0.03 ms.
