HP has just introduced its latest productivity-focused monitor, the Series 5 27-inch FHD (527da). It has a sleek design with a host of practical features suited for both home and office setups.
The standout feature here is the 27-inch IPS display with a 100Hz refresh rate - definitely smoother than the usual 60Hz, which should make scrolling, basic gaming, and video playback more fluid. It delivers 1080p resolution, covers 99% of the sRGB color spectrum, and comes with a contrast ratio of 1500:1.
A key focus for HP with this monitor is user comfort. There's a 100mm height adjustment along with tilt capability (-5° to +25°) for personalized ergonomics. HP also included its Eye Ease tech, which cuts down on harmful blue light without compromising on color accuracy.
On the audio side, the monitor is equipped with built-in dual 2W speakers positioned at the back, which definitely won't replace external speakers in terms of quality, but can help you save some desk space for sure. The design itself is quite minimalist, with ultra-slim bezels on three sides, making it ideal for dual-monitor setups as well.
Ports on the Series 5 27-inch monitor are more practical rather than extensive, featuring HDMI 1.4, VGA, audio in and out ports, plus a security cable slot. It supports standard VESA mounting if users prefer to bypass the stand.
In the box, buyers will receive an HDMI cable, power adapter, AC power cord, quick setup instructions, and documentation. Pricing and release details will be shared by HP soon.
