The HP Victus 15 has been refreshed with yet more CPUs from Intel and AMD. They can be combined with a wide range of Nvidia GPUs dating back to the RTX 2050.

HP has given the Victus 15 another do-over after its CES 2025 refresh. This time, it gets a bunch of new CPU choices from Intel and AMD, to the point where one can't help but ask why. It spans across multiple generations and even pairs with GPUs of the yesteryears. Before we get into it, let's have a look at some of its easier to understand specs.

The HP Victus 15 retains its 15-6-inch FHD (1,920 x 1,080) screen that refreshes at 144 Hz and has a peak brightness of 300 nits. Depending on the model, you get a 1080p or 720p webcam, neither of which include a privacy shutter. Once again, you'll have to check the listing to see if you get Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E because the laptop can come wit either options.

Starting with AMD, the HP Victus 15 can be configured with Krackan Point (Ryzen AI 7 350 and below), Hawk Point refresh (Ryzen 7 260 and below), and Hawk Point (Ryzen 9 8845HS, Ryzen 7 8845HS and lower). On the Intel side, choices range between Raptor Lake refresh (Core 7 240H and lower), 14th-gen Raptor Lake (Core i7-14650HX and below), Raptor Lake HX (Core i7-13650HX) and Raptor Lake H (Core i7-13620H and lower).

If that seems like too many CPUs, the GPU choices are just as overwhelming. They include the Radeon iGPU that comes with AMD chips, the Intel iGPU for the other set, a mystery RTX 50 series model, the RTX 4060, RTX 4050, RTX 3050 A, RTX 3050 and RTX 2050. In essence, the HP Victus 15 crams just about every available part from the past few generations.

Because of its dizzying CPU choices, RAM selection varies between 16 GB DDR4-3200 and 24 GB DDR5-5600. SSD choices range between 1 TB and 512 GB. For I/O, there's one USB-C 5Gbps/Power Delivery port, two USB-A 5 Gbps ports, one RJ-45 Ethernet jack, one HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack. The Victus 15 is available in three colour variants: Performance Blue, Mica Silver and Powder Pink. Prices start at $1,200 in the US.
