Huion has made a name for itself in the pen display market, competing against the likes of Wacom with feature-rich pen displays for everyone from digital artists and designers to photographers at significantly lower prices. Thanks to a new Amazon sale, a bunch of Huion Kamvas Pro 13 and 16 pen displays are discounted by up to 33%.

- Huion Kamvas Pro 13 2.5K QLED: $319 (20% off)

Huion Kamvas Pro 13 and 16 specs and features
All versions of the Huion Kamvas 13 and 16 that are mentioned here are 60 Hz displays, which should be plenty for most people doing digital art. They also all top out at around 220 nits brightness, although lower brightness figures are typical of art-centric pen displays, since they are generally optimised for colour performance over brightness. They all also feature USB connectivity for video input, with an optional multi-port cable for those who don't have USB-C display-out. Only the Pro 2.5K models support USB-C power delivery over the same display connection, though.
The FHD versions of the Huion Kamvas Pro 13 and Kamvas Pro 16 are the most basic of the lot, but they still pack reasonable pixel density, especially the 13.3-inch display, along with laminated displays, 120% coverage of the sRGB colour space, and 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity from the EMR-powered battery-free pen. Both the Kamvas Pro 13 and Kamvas Pro 16 FHD feature a customisable touch bar and customisable shortcut buttons on the left display bezel. Where the Pro 13 has four shortcut buttons, the 16 has six. Both also have anti-glare etched glass and tilt support up to 60°.
The Huion Kamvas Pro 13 and 16 2.5K models step things up with QLED display tech, which bumps up the colour reproduction and contrast. These higher-end models feature 99% coverage of the AdobeRGB colour space, making them far more suited for professional workflows. Screen response times are also lower, at 14 ms compared to 25 ms on the regular Kamvas Pro 13 and 16. The touch bar has also been traded for extra customisable shortcut buttons here — seven on the Kamvas Pro 13 2.5K and eight on the Kamvas Pro 16 2.5K.
If you're a beginner simply looking to try out digital art on an affordable pen display, the Huion Kamvas 13 Pro should do the trick, while those looking to upgrade from something like a screenless drawing tablet might want to consider the QLED models, instead.
