LG has finally started offering one of its latest Dual Mode gaming monitors in the US. Also now available in the UK, the UltraGear 27G850A can either output at 1080p and 480 Hz or 4K and 240 Hz as needed.

LG has expanded availability of the UltraGear 27G850A, following releases in other markets earler this year. To recap, the monitor landed in China first before being released in Japan at the end of January. Following that, LG started offering it in Europe with an early launch discount.

As its name suggests, the UltraGear 27G850A spans 27-inches across. The monitor also achieves its 4K/240 Hz and 1080p/480 Hz display modes via a Nano IPS panel rather than the OLED equivalents found in many recent UltraGear gaming monitors. According to LG, the monitor boasts 600 nits peak brightness and 1 ms GtG response times too, as well as 99% DCI-P3 colour space coverage.

This time, the UltraGear 27G850A has now reached the UK and the US, where it is available exclusively on Amazon. At the time of writing, the monitor sells for $799.99 in the US and £749.99 (~$971) in the UK. Please note that the latter price includes 20% value-added tax (VAT). With that being said, both prices make the UltraGear 27G850A more expensive than if one were to purchase it in the Eurozone.
