Asus has finally opened pre-orders for one of the ProArt monitors it showcased almost a year ago. To recap, the company unveiled the ProArt Display PA32KCX with a 32-inch Mini LED panel as a successor of sorts to the ProArt PA32UCR (curr. $1,279.99 on Amazon). Simultaneously, Asus also presented the ProArt Display PA32UCDM, which it distinguished from the PA32KCX by basing the former around a QD-OLED panel.
For some reason, Asus has not commented on either monitor since. Instead, it has quietly listed the ProArt Display PA32UCDM on its website, as have various retail partners. For context, the ProArt Display PA32UCDM outputs at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels across its 31.5-inch panel for an effective 140 PPI pixel density. The panel also provides a 99% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB colour space coverages, as well as support for Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR10 high dynamic range modes.
Meanwhile, the monitor itself contains almost a dozen colour presets, plus user-configurable presets and Asus' ProArt Hardware Calibration, among other first-party software. Incidentally, the monitor delivers a 240 Hz refresh rate too with 0.01 ms GtG response times and Adaptive-Sync VRR technology. On top of that, Asus has included the following ports:
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 2x Thunderbolt 4 (Daisy Chain supported)
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (96 W Power Delivery)
Currently, Asus sells the ProArt Display PA32UCDM in the US for $1,899. By contrast, the monitor is available in the UK for £1,599 and will begin shipping there on April 15. Also, while the ProArt Display PA32UCDM retails for €2,099 in the Eurozone, retailers like Alternate are already selling it for as low as €1,799.
