Gigabyte asserts that its latest 27-inch 4K monitor is the ideal display of its size for the RTX 5000-series era, as it integrates tandem OLED technology on top of its QD-OLED nature. The MO27U2 has a 240Hz refresh rate, supports G-Sync and packs Gigabyte Tactical Features rated to optimize gaming-friendly attributes such as VRR and clarity in motion. It also even packs its own cooling and Pantone validation.

Gigabyte backs its latest 27-inch monitor to set "a new benchmark in clarity and precision for its popular size" thanks to its 4K resolution and "remarkable" 166 pixels-per-inch (PPI) value.

The MO27U2 also supports both the QD-OLED and tandem OLED buzzwords respectively, which might help with the depth of its blacks and power-efficiency respectively.

Its maker claims to underpin its visual quality with "upgraded" Tactical Features such as second-gen Black Equalizer, rated to help avoid part of a scene (such as that of an unevenly-lit battlefield, for example) becoming obscured by erratic black levels.

Tactical Switch 2.0 is touted as a "one-click" way to change resolutions or aspect ratios on the fly, while Ultra Clear has "advanced black frame insertion" to avoid blur in fast-moving sequences.

Finally, VRR Anti-Flicker is included for apparently "precise" variable refresh rate adjustments mid-game to avoid defects such as tearing.

The monitor also boasts Graphene Thermal Film Technology as well as a design rated for "4-way airflow" intended to help it stay cool during gaming.

The Gigabyte MO27U2 is now available.
