The Realme 14 5G could fill the gap between the already available Realme 14X 5G and the Realme 14 Pro. Realme Thailand has now released the first-ever teaser images, particularly highlighting the mecha-inspired design on the mid-range smartphone. Although expected to be relatively affordable, the Realme 14 5G boasts a modern design with flat edges, a distinctive rear panel and orange colour accents.
The display sports a thin bezel and a punch-hole front camera in the middle. Markings on the rectangular camera module confirm that Realme has equipped the phone with a 50 MP “AI camera”. However, as its miniscule front element suggests, the second camera houses a rather underwhelming 2 MP sensor. The smartphone also features a dual-tone LED flash and an LED ring that can do things like alerting users to notifications. Realme has previously confirmed that the Realme 14 5G will pack a massive 6,000 mAh battery.
Powering the mid-range phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, which was just recently announced in February. The brand-new 4 nm ARM processor features four Cortex-A720 performance cores capable of boosting up to 2.2 GHz, and four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores running at 1.8 GHz. Pairing an efficient processor with a huge battery allows the phone to provide around 10.5 hours of gaming. The Realme 14 5G is expected to be officially announced in the next few days, with its full specifications, pricing and availability likely to be revealed by then.
