The Epic Games Store has stepped up its free game giveaway service on Android and iOS. While the storefront only kicked off the program a few months ago, it has timed this week's offering of Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist to coincide with a major change in their ongoing distribution.

Little over a month has passed since the Epic Games Store confirmed its free game giveaway plans for 2025. To recap, the storefront claimed that it would not be 'slowing down' on PC or mobile, despite only starting the latter at the end of January.

Nonetheless, it has now switched up how frequently it will be giving away games on Android and iOS. Until today, it had been updating its mobile program monthly. However, it has now brought this into line with its desktop counterpart, which it updated with a new Jurassic Park-themed title earlier today (curr. $35 on Amazon).

As a result, one can expect new free Android and iOS games to drop next week and every Thursday thereafter. Theoretically, new mobile games should be discounted at 15:00 UTC. Recent mobile giveaways have tended to refresh shortly after that time though, and not exactly on the hour as with their desktop counterparts.

To that end, Epic Games has replaced Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) and its sequel, KOTOR II: The Sith Lords, with a new batch of mobile games worth $9.96 when redeemed together. Please note that you must be logged into your Epic Games account to grab Eastern Exorcist and Super Meat Boy Forever simultaneously on both platforms from a browser. Please see Epic Games' latest advice for installing its mobile storefront on Android and iOS.
