Xiaomi Smart Temperature and Humidity Monitor 3: Smart indoor air sensor comes with large display

Xiaomi is launching a new smart home room air sensor onto the market, namely the Xiaomi Smart Temperature and Humidity Monitor 3, which recently appeared on the manufacturer's global website. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not yet revealed when exactly this will launch and how much it will cost.

The Xiaomi Smart Temperature and Humidity Monitor 3 is the successor to the Smart Temperature and Humidity Monitor 2 and comes with a range of new features and improvements. At around 8 x 7 x 1.5 cm, the new generation is significantly larger than its predecessor. Accordingly, Xiaomi has installed a larger display that can show more information at once. 

The new monitor again measures the temperature and humidity of rooms and evaluates these by displaying a smiley for the comfort level. This is the same as the second generation, with Xiaomi again promising a very accurate digital sensor. The date and time are also displayed, which was not the case on the previous model. It is possible to select which value should be displayed in large format. 

The measured values can not only be read on the screen, but can also be called up via the Xiaomi Home app and Bluetooth Mesh. The monitor can also be integrated into automated home systems, allowing for the automatic activation of certain devices such as a dehumidifier if the humidity is too high. As before, Xiaomi also promises a particularly long battery life, this time installing a CR2450 button cell into the Smart Temperature and Humidity Monitor 3.
