Xiaomi Body Composition Scale S400 with dozens of health indicators arrives in more countries
The Xiaomi Body Composition Scale S400 has officially launched in more European countries. The product appeared on the brand's global website earlier this year and is already on sale in China.
The S400 is said to use dual-frequency electrical impedance measurements at 50Hz and 250kHz to provide a wide range of health insights. A total of 25 health indicators, such as weight, heart rate, body water mass and body fat percentage, are viewable in the accompanying app thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Xiaomi claims that it has used DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) data as a benchmark for the body fat measurements from the scale, showing a strong correlation. Other features include data storage for up to 36 users, a baby or pet-holding mode, and anti-slip pads on the feet.
The battery-powered smart scale is expected to run for up to 180 days and measures 300 x 300 x 24.55mm.
