Kospetiheal has released a new smart ring, the Ring 5. The wearable is relatively cheap and has a basic feature set to match this price point. Alleged tools include blood oxygen level, sleep health and exercise tracking, with insights viewable in an accompanying app.

The Kospetiheal Ring 5 smart ring has been unveiled as a cheaper wearable. iHeal is a Kospet sub-brand under which several so-called smart rings have already been launched. The company suggests that its latest model is luxurious despite the low price point.

The Ring 5 offers various health tracking features, such as monitoring your SpO2 level and heart rate, analyzing your sleep and providing a step count. However, the accuracy of these measurements is unclear, and this is undoubtedly not a medically certified device. According to Kospetiheal, the 20mAh battery allows the wearable to run for up to seven days with typical use; the same estimate is given for the Oura Ring Gen 3 Heritage wearable, which has a 15-22mAh battery. Other features include an accompanying app for health insights, exercise tracking and a charging case with a 200mAh battery.

Four sizes, from 8 to 11, are on offer, as well as three colors: black, gold, and silver. The ring is said to weigh to be waterproof to 5ATM, weighing 3.5g and measuring 3mm in thickness. The Kospetiheal Ring 5 Smart Ring is currently available at a discounted price of $49.99, 50% off the $99.99 RRP. It is unclear how long this deal will last. It is also worth noting that you must email the company to start the returns process, with no returns address provided on its website. On top of this, the KOSPET FIT app gets mixed reviews.
