Leakers reveal Google Pixel Watch 3 advert showing new 41 mm and 45 mm models
Google is not set to reveal any new Pixel hardware until August 13. Nonetheless, Android Headlines and @OnLeaks have been leaking promotional materials for several of the company's upcoming devices in the last few days, whether that be the Pixel 9 Pro Fold or its non-foldable counterparts like the Pixel 9 Pro. Additionally, the pair have been steadily been showcasing the Pixel Watch 3, a direct successor to last year's Pixel Watch 2 (curr. $269.99 on Amazon).
Now, Android Headlines and @OnLeaks have shared what we imagine will be Google's launch advert for its next smartwatch, evidence of which we have embedded below. As expected, the advert confirms that the Pixel Watch 3 will be available in 41 mm and 45 mm sizes. Moreover, both sizes will have noticeably smaller display bezels than the Pixel Watch 2, although previous rumours suggested that the actual percentage change was only about 20% for the smaller 41 mm variant.
On top of that, Google briefly mentions that this year's Pixel Watch's will have significantly brighter displays. Based on other leaked materials, the new displays will be capable of reaching 2,000 nits, for which Google will apply its 'Actua' branding. Furthermore, the advert shows that Google will continue to push its smartwatches on their fitness credentials despite being constrained by comparatively short battery life.
