Meross launches new powerful Smart Presence Sensor with discount
The Meross Smart Presence Sensor MS600 is now available to pre-order worldwide. Four versions of the smart home device are on offer, tailored to the US and Canada, the EU, the UK and Australia.
The Smart Presence Sensor combines PIR and mmWave radar technology to detect motion or presence precisely. This could trigger a security alarm, smart blinds or a smart lock. The company says it has worked to prevent false alarms from pets, wind or a vacuum cleaner. The smart home device also offers a light sensor, which can trigger smart lights when it gets dark. Thanks to Matter compatibility, the product can integrate with smart home ecosystems such as Apple Home, Amazon Alexa and Google Home. The sensor sits on a base that can rotate 360° and swivel 180°, and it is worth noting that the sensor is wired rather than battery-powered.
You can now pre-order the Meross Smart Presence Sensor MS600 for the discounted price of $29.99/£23.33/€27.71/AU$45.80/CA$41.41. It is unclear how long this deal will last, with the smart home product expected to retail for $35.99/£28.00/€33.25/AU$54.97/CA$49.70 typically. According to the Meross website, orders will ship from August 20th. It remains to be seen when the device will land at the brand’s Amazon storefront, where it already sells other security devices like the Smart Wi-Fi Door and Window Sensor Kit.
