Leaker reveals three of four Apple iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max launch colours with a much darker Black Titanium option
In recent weeks, the focus of smartphone leaks has centred on Google's Pixel 9 series. However, Apple is also preparing to introduce new smartphones itself, which are expected to directly replace the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max (curr. $1,096 renewed premium on Amazon). For reference, Apple typically distinguishes its Pro and non-Pro iPhones in various areas, including colours.
Based on previous leaks, this will be truer this year thanks to the release of different sizes too. Conversely, a new leak suggests that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will land next month with a familiar set of colours, unlike the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. Although Apple has not confirmed this directly yet, a hands-on photo of iPhone 16 Pro Max dummy units has showcased what three of the device's launch colours could look like.
Allegedly, the trio pictured below will arrive as White, Space Black and Grey, respectively. However, it remains to be seen whether Apple will append its 'Titanium' branding that it uses for the current iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Nonetheless, only the black version is distinguishable from its predecessor on account of its much deeper hue. Supposedly, a new 'Rose' option will be available alongside these three versions too, presumably replacing last year's 'Blue Titanium' option. Unfortunately, a corresponding image of this version has not surfaced yet.
