Homey Pro is not particularly affordable at $347.99, but the manufacturer is now presenting a much cheaper alternative in the Homey Pro Mini. The small hub comes in a square housing with Zigbee, Thread and Matter for the control of numerous smart home devices.
If Homey Pro Mini is expanded with a Homey Bridge, devices can also be controlled via Bluetooth, Z-Wave, 433 MHz and infrared, which are already included in the more expensive Homey Pro. This is also the biggest difference between the two devices, apart from the fact that Homey Pro Mini does not have WiFi and must be connected to the internet via Ethernet.

Details here
The 1.5 GHz ARM quad-core processor in the Homey Pro Mini is combined with just 1 GB instead of 2 GB RAM, meaning that only around 20 apps can be run simultaneously, while the flash storage remains unchanged at 8 GB. Just like the Homey Pro, the Homey Pro Mini runs Homey Pro OS, a smart home operating system that allows devices to be controlled via smartphone and tablet apps as well as via web dashboards. The Homey App Store also offers third-party applications. The Homey Pro Mini allows smart home devices to be controlled directly via servers, which means that no subscription or cloud account is required for automations.
Price and availability
The Homey Pro Mini is expected to be launched first in the US in April 2025 for $199.
