New Xiaomi LED Desk Lamp 2 with voice controls rolls out to more countries
Xiaomi is rolling out the LED Desk Lamp 2 to various European countries. The smart home product launched in China last year is the Mijia Desk Lamp 2. It then arrived in the UK in November and has now been listed at the brand’s online stores in countries like France and Germany.
The LED Desk Lamp 2 is 477 mm (~18.8 inches) tall, with the wide head measuring 600 mm (~23.6 inches) across and adjustable up to 25°. Xiaomi suggests that glare is limited, with the light providing natural lighting with a color rendering index of RA95 at 3900 K. The color temperature of the 112 LEDs can be set between 2,700 and 5,100 K.
The 10 W smart light is compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa for remote app-based or voice controls, or you can use the built-in touch panel. Here, there are color temperature and brightness adjustment sliders, as well as buttons to activate Read and Focus modes.
You can now buy the LED Desk Lamp 2 for £36.99 in the UK, €49.99 in France and €44.99 in Germany. It is unclear when the smart light will reach other countries like the Netherlands or Spain.
